In 1999, TEMCo entered the MG Set business by offering frequency converters which convert frequency, phase, and voltage. Current product offerings include capacities exceeding 5 MVA for use in a wide variety of industries. TEMCo has supplied customized solutions for a wide range of applications ranging from laboratory testing to utility scale installations.
TEMCo's industrial power solutions are chosen for the most demanding applications by some of the best and most widely known companies in the world. Our quality products are being used throughout the US and internationally every day.
Our regular customers include: Varian Medical, Applied Materials, Apple Computer, ESPN Networks, NASA, General Motors, IBM, Kaiser Permanente, Nordstrom, BAE Systems, UC Berkeley, Navy Public Works Center, US Army Executive Service, FORD, MIT, Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC), Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL), and many thousands more.
In-House Engineering. TEMCo’s engineering team is structured to support custom design solutions:In addition to our standard offerings of Frequency Converters and Isolation systems, we manufacture flywheel systems, energy storage, power disruption ride through, large scale power conversion systems, medium and high voltage conversion, complete package integration including switchgear, and integration with power management systems.
Production Time. 4 week average production time for build-to-order, standard, and custom solutions.
Small footprint frequency converters. Our industrial type units employ a vertical chassis design to save significant floor space. Precision systems use high power density rotating assemblies that dramatically reduce the acquisition cost of the system, long term maintenance, package size, and weight.
Non-proprietary service components. The service items used in our systems are mainstream and commonly available in the industry.
Maintenance. Frequency Converters and Isolation Systems are designed to be serviced by generally informed motor or generator repair facilities, using non-proprietary tools and equipment.
